PitBullTV News Release- Saint Petersburg, Fl

PitBullTV is the worlds newest online television network community. The network is based on the idea of bypassing Hollywood and bringing unknown talent to international audiences. Founded by actors in the Saint Petersburg, Fl area, PitBullTV's goal is to showcase actors, script writers, local producers and directors. PitBullTV's founder's recent credits include "Hoot" in theatres 2006 and "Human Animals" a 2005 FX TV pilot/TV series.

The Pitbull Television Network combines the creative ideas of online television with consumer needs. The "Coupon/Advertising Directory" of the site will feature local and national businesses, with most offering their products/services at a discount. This will give the public a single place to go to find their favorite products/services at a discount.

The Network will cater to all ages with all different types of programming, from animated shows to primetime adult oriented shows. The network will never show pornography or smut but will have prime time programming similar to cable/satellite tv. Most shows are cutting edge and unique and have never been seen anywhere on tv or the web.

PitBullTV is currently accepting headshots/resumes from actors as well as new show ideas and show submissions. This gives the public a unique opportunity to get into the entertainment business and have their project watched by viewers all over the world. The "Featured Talent" section will showcase upcoming talent and give directors/producers the opportunity to contact them directly. PitBullTV is not an acting agency, therefore unknown actors will not have to pay a percentage of their potential future income to the network.

The "Virtual Production" section of the site will offer the public an opportunity to vote/rate on current shows and affect the future life of them. Virtual Production will give the "American Idol" flavor to the network with the public driving its content.

The Network is currently accepting tv series, pilots, home movies, blogs, shorts, indy films, concerts and more for its 2006 season. Once licensed to the network, amateur producers will have the opportunity in revenue sharing from advertisers. This is the perfect opportunity for the next "Hollywood Producer" to have his/her work displayed on an international level. College student and film school students are encouraged to apply.

The Pitbull Television Network is currently airing tv series and indy films while expanding into radio (audio) shows, concerts and more. Current shows in pre-production are "The Next Shock Jock" and "Tell The President" (a gutsy political series).
